Early Light - Light Work vol. 1

High Light is the second volume in Light Work, a quarterly embroidery pattern series from Gold Pollen Co. Each volume follows the light through a single day and the feelings that come with it. High Light is the sun at its highest, when everything is full up and every color is at full strength. This isn't the hour for neutrals.

The book contains three patterns, each one bursting outward from a bright, open center: rings of small hand-placed marks, rings of dots that grow smaller toward the middle, and rings of chevrons pointing out toward the edge. The second pattern comes in two versions, so you can choose the one that feels like yours. Like every Light Work pattern, they are stitch agnostic. There are no instructions telling you which stitch to use where. The work is yours to make your own.

Alongside the patterns you will find a stitch guide for those just getting started, an inspiration page, and a reflection page where you can keep notes on what you made and how it felt to make it. Each pattern prints at 7 inches across for an 8 inch hoop and can be reduced for smaller hoops.
